Photos of the first prototype for Moksha’s new 21st century blazers collection. Pre-launch late April in very limited numbers and full launch later in the year. Probably September. This is a ‘first baste’ in cheap grey cloth with no sleeves, pockets or detailing so you can only get an impression but trust me, they’re going to be epic.
This design has actually been superseded by a second prototype which is due to be finished next week, ready for trying in the field by a group of lucky chaps. The revised design has a much deeper angle to the pockets, more exaggerated cutaway in the front quarters and a sharper body line. I’ll post some pictures as soon as I get my hands on it.
The blazers have been designed by Darius, with the production block and prototypes developed on Savile Row.
They’ll feature custom-designed British heritage fabrics rebooted with contemporary, graphic patterns.
They’ll also have creative design and customisation features, including a re-think of the sleeve.
